As I travel into the quiet meditation of painting, I wage silent wars with color on canvas responding to beauty and tragedy simultaneously. Painting is my primary focus for combining multi-sensory experiences.  As a musician, there is a lyrical approach to my creative process.  I enjoy the physical nature of painting and often use unconventional methods to gently push the possibilities of materials. I am deeply influenced by the creative roots of my family and the many gifted artists whose work and support nurture my inspirations immensely, especially Cora Cohen.
